Handmade Nature of Our Work
Every book edge is painted by hand — no laser machines, just stencils, brushes, paint, and creativity. That means:
No two designs will ever be 100% identical (and that’s the magic).
Variations in color, placement, or little quirks like paint bleeding are normal.
Lighting and screens can shift how colors look compared to photos.
Imperfections don’t equal “defects” — they make your copy one of a kind.
When you order from us, you’re choosing art, not factory duplication.
Custom Orders
We’ll confirm your design before production begins.
Once painting starts, changes aren’t possible.
All custom work is final sale.
Our Creative Rights
The book itself? Still belongs to its publisher/author. We’re just making the edges pretty.
Our original art (patterns, styles, designs) stays ours.
We may photograph finished books to share in our portfolio or social media unless you request otherwise.
Respect & Fair Use
Please don’t:
Send us someone else’s art to copy without permission.
Use our work in ways that break copyright laws.
Submit false or misleading info when ordering.
We reserve the right to decline projects that cross those lines.
Service Availability
Sometimes life happens — paint dries slow, supply chains break, or we take a pause for maintenance. We may refuse or delay service if needed, but we’ll keep you posted.
Liability Stuff
We’re careful with every order, but legally:
Our liability is capped at the price you paid us.
We’re not responsible for indirect or “extra” damages (missed events, lost profits, etc.).
Force majeure applies: if wildfires, strikes, or world chaos happen, delays are out of our hands.
Privacy

Disputes
If there’s ever a problem, email us first — we’ll do our best to fix it.
If we can’t resolve things directly, any disputes will be handled under California law.
